Pollution has decreased over the past ten years

“The more human activity there is, the more pollution there is (heating, traffic, etc.). But there are also weather conditions that can play an important role, for example in cities in the South, where we can be very windy. In the North for example, it’s quite the opposite: the cloud cover tends to block the dispersion of the particles a little”explains Olivier Hertel, journalist at Point. According to the authors of this survey, pollution has nevertheless decreased throughout France over the past ten years, up to half as much in certain places.
