Air Miles: Earn Miles and Take Advantage of Low Prices at Dollarama

After losing several important partners, including IGA and Jean Coutu, Air Miles announces a brand new partnership with Dollarama.

The announcement comes some time after the popular rewards program was acquired by BMO, which has pledged to reinvigorate it.

“Our promise to Canadians, especially during these tough economic times, is to provide the most flexible and expansive ways to earn miles on everyday purchases,” said Shawn Stewart, President, Air Miles Reward Program, noting that there will be several other announcements over the next few months.

Thanks to this partnership, which will begin on August 7, Air Miles Collectors will be able to earn miles in the 1,500 Dollarama stores across the country.

Thus, by purchasing for $30 or more in a branch of the low-cost retailer, members holding a Mastercard card issued in Canada will be able to receive 10 bonus miles, until November 6. BMO AIR MILES cardholders will be able to earn five times the miles on their purchases at Dollarama.

To link a Mastercard card with a membership account, simply go to the Air Miles website.

Earn miles on groceries

On the heels of its announcements, Air Miles has launched a brand new feature that allows its members to earn miles on purchases at select major grocery stores.

“[Reçus AIR MILES] allows Collectors to take a photo of their eligible grocery receipt in the AIR MILES App within 14 days to earn Bonus Miles on eligible purchases,” the loyalty program said in a statement.
