Montrealers will soon have an additional option to travel to the west of the country. Next spring, Porter Airlines will offer daily non-stop flights between the Quebec metropolis and the airports of Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.
The carrier will be able to offer these new destinations with the addition of Embraer E195-E2 jets to its fleet. These new aircraft will also allow Porter Airlines to improve its service between Montreal and Halifax.
Currently, this route is served by 78-seat Dash 8-400 turboprops. These will be replaced by Embraer E195-E2s, faster twinjets offering 132 seats.
