He himself admits to having particularly given during this season. “It was not really planned to resume coaching at this level. It was a family choice when we accepted.“Will he be back on the bench next year? Sylvain Lautié prefers beg the question. “He has three options: training, taking up a position as a salaried sports director, or coaching. It’s really a personal reflection. But whatever the choice, it will be a choice of passion because we have the chance to live from our sport.”
As for the objectives of Sluc Nancy Basket in the first division, the coach is reasonable. “We will do what it takes to maintain it. It will be necessary to play and win thirteen matches. And when you know that there are at least six or seven teams that are untouchable, for us it’s a mini championship with seven to eight where you have to be above all not in the bottom three, so it’s not easy.”
