With the #AimeSansHaine movement, France Télévisions is committed against cyberbullying, which affects nearly one in five young people. To break the taboo on this subject, franceinfo was live for 90 minutes on the TikTok account, the first platform acclaimed by adolescents, to give voice to victims and actors who fight daily against cyberbullying.
During this live broadcast hosted by Cédric Cousseau and Nacer Boubekeur, spectators were able to witness the testimony ofAnne-Liz Debavictim of bullying and violence at school. “It started in real life and it was exported to the networks”, explains the young woman. Each day, she received insults, virtual and verbal threats, blows, even an assassination attempt. “My stalkers doused me in gasoline and tried to set me on fire”, she says.
Today, still traumatized by these events, she speaks out so that her story does not repeat itself. “Victims should not be left alone” and the witnesses of these acts must reach out to them, she explains.
Same story on the side of Parody Bros, two brothers making humorous videos on the networks. Despite their influence, they have been victims of cyberbullying. “One day after a collaboration, we received a lot of racist comments. It shocked us, but luckily we had a family for us to support”, explain the two comedians. Their response to the insults: love, jokes, to change shame.
The opportunity to recall the behaviors that are considered cyberbullying and the penalties incurred: up to three years in prison and 45,000 euros fine for the harasser. “We are talking about harassment with digital tools. There is an intention to harm, it is repeated violencee”, explains Justine Atlandirector of e-childhood. This association fights daily against cyberbullying with a help line for victims (the 3018)while working closely with social networks to report and remove hateful content. “Being brave is also calling for help”, recalls Justine Atlan.
Movement #LoveWithoutHate launched by France Télévisions continues to encourage social networks to become a benevolent and respectful space. T-shits and sweaters with the mobilization emojis, the black heart and the teardrop, are on sale on the aimesanshaine.fr site, with all funds being donated to the e-Enfance association.
Against cyberbullying, a telephone line is available, 3018, as well as a help application for victims (information, reports, support, etc.).
