Several people working for an NGO responsible for delivering food to the Gaza Strip were killed in an Israeli strike on Monday April 1.
At least seven Australian, British and Polish employees of the NGO World Central Kitchen were killed on Monday, April 1, in an Israeli strike in the center of the Gaza Strip. The victims were traveling in two armored vehicles bearing the WCK logo. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed the death of an Australian national and said his government had contacted Israel to demand accountability. “This is a human tragedy that should never have happened. It is completely unacceptable and Australia will demand accountability.”, he commented. The Israeli army assured that it will open “an investigation” to determine the circumstances of the strike
