Shots were fired Thursday evening from two moving vehicles in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville, in Montreal. No one was injured in the altercation.
A call was made to 911 around 9:20 p.m. Friday evening, reporting shots exchanged between moving vehicles, said Véronique Dubuc, media relations officer for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
When police arrived at the scene, the vehicles had fled. Gun casings were observed on the ground.
The exchange of shots took place on boulevard de l’Acadie, near rue Dudemaine, in the north of the metropolis.
A perimeter was erected by the SPVM and investigators moved to the scene to analyze the scene.
