The Agricultural Show is back at Porte de Versailles, in Paris. On Saturday February 25, visitors began to discover, or rediscover, animals and local products.
Saturday, February 25, since the start of the morning, it’s been a rush in the aisles. With more than 1,000 exhibitors this year, it’s not always easy to find your way around the Paris Agricultural Show. While some favor safe bets, others set out to explore. Friends traveled from Haute-Savoie to learn a little more about farming. A sheep farmer willingly lends himself to the game. “We are there, at the base, to show what we can do, explain how we work, meet people”he explains.
600,000 visitors expected
Exhibitors are counting on the show to highlight their industry after a difficult 2022. One of them, who raises sheep, lost 30% of its production because of the heat and the too dry grass during the summer. The fair is open for nine days. Nearly 600,000 people are expected.
