Rugby player Baptiste Lafond, who plays for SU Agen (Pro D2), was indicted for rape and imprisoned, learned Thursday, March 30, AFP from the Bayonne prosecutor’s office, confirming information from the daily South West. The 24-year-old player has “was indicted on March 24 for rape and placed in pre-trial detention after the opening of a judicial investigation”said the prosecution.

Aged 24, Baptiste Lafond is the son of another rugby player, Jean-Baptiste Lafond (61), who has 37 selections with the XV of France and a title of champion of France conquered with the Racing Club de France in 1990 .
