Former President Donald Trump called on Friday May 27 to “arm the citizens” to fight the “evil in our society”at the origin according to him of the massacre in an elementary school in Texas. “The existence of evil is the reason for arming law-abiding citizens”he assured, in defense of the second amendment to the American Constitution, which guarantees the right to own a weapon.
The Republican billionaire spoke to the first American arms lobby, which coincidentally held its annual convention a few hundred miles from the Texas city where the shooting took place. Donald Trump has accused his successor Joe Biden and the Democratic Party of politically exploiting “family tears” bereaved trying to pass gun laws.

According to the Conservatives, rather than limiting the number of firearms, we should better deal with mental health problems.
