After the success of the first season, “Drag Race France” returns to France 2 from Friday June 30

Which queen will succeed Paloma, alias Hugo Bardin? Cookie Kunty? Ginger Bitch? The second part of the drag-queens contest “Drag Race France”, will be broadcast from Friday June 30, every Friday in the second part of the evening on France 2, announced, Tuesday June 6, France Télévisions. Thus, eleven new “queens” will compete in multiple events (song, dance, imitations…) and parades to try to win the most “queer” crown in public service.

This year, the telecrochet presented by Nicky Doll, French drag queen and candidate for season 12 of the American show, accompanied by DJ and LGBT figure Kiddy Smile and Daphne Bürki, is therefore installed around 11 p.m. and doubled by a preview broadcast at 6 p.m. on France TV Slash.

Adapted from the program “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, launched in 2009 in the United States, “Drag Race France”, a phenomenon on social networks, also had great success on the air last summer. The show thus brought together “up to 7 million viewers over the whole season”, recalls the public group in a press release. Originally reserved for the France TV Slash platform for young adults, the show was finally scheduled for the third part of the evening on France 2, after Fort Boyard, around midnight.

To accompany his return, France 2 will offer on June 24 “The great evening of cabarets” presented by Nicky Doll and Stéphane Bern, followed by the show “The Drag Race France phenomenon, 1 year with the queens!”, where we will find the former candidates including the winner Paloma.
