A week after the indictment and incarceration of the mayor of Agde Gilles d’Ettore and a clairvoyant for “fraud, corruption, illegal taking of interest” and “embezzlement of public funds”, “two important executives of the Eiffage company” have been indicted, announces the public prosecutor of Béziers, Raphaël Balland, in a press release. They are suspected of having participated in the secret financing of work carried out at the clairvoyant’s home, reports France Bleu Hérault on Sunday March 31.

They are both indicted for “breach of trust, forgery and use of forgery”. The hierarchical superior was also indicted as head of “active corruption”. He was placed in pre-trial detention. His subordinate is, for his part, suspected of “complicity in corruption”. He was released under judicial supervision with, in particular, prohibitions from going to the premises of the Eiffage company, from exercising any management activity of a company or an agency of a company, and from come into contact with several people related to the current procedure.

Before them, another person had been arrested and taken into police custody. This is a “business manager from Aude”, according to the prosecutor. He emerged free, with no charges at this point.

The clairvoyant and the mayor of Agde, Gilles d’Ettore, have been in prison since March 21, specifies France Bleu Hérault.
