after the failure of La Zarra at Eurovision, Louis Albi does not want to represent France for the moment and explains why

It will be without him! At least for the moment. While the Eurovision contest took place on Saturday May 13, 2023, the new edition is already on everyone’s lips. Who will succeed La Zarra to represent France? If nothing is done for the moment, the candidates of the last edition of the “Star Academy” seem best placed to take on this role. This is why Anisha, Louis, Enola, or Léa, do not escape THE question during the interviews they give. Would they agree to represent the country for the competition?

On the side of the winner of the program of TF1 hosted by Nikos Aliagas, it’s neither yes nor no. “I never thought about it”revealed Anisha Jo to our colleagues from Pure charts before continuing: “Why not? I couldn’t tell you now, but why not. If it’s to represent the French flag which also gave me these great opportunities […]”. Even if she knows very well what the purpose of Eurovision is, Anisha admits to being quite detached from it: “I watched in 2016 or 2017, I only watched one edition in my whole life”.

Louis Albi, not yet ready for Eurovision?

What about Louis Albi? The young man who has just unveiled the clip of his new song “That you’re lying to yourself” confess to our colleagues: “I received so many messages about this!”. The ex-candidate of the “Star Academy”unlike Anisha, is a total fan of the contest: “Eurovision has always made me dream. I have always followed the competition because I love the principle that each country can sing in its language, with very different musical universes and there is this union around music. It’s just talk of peace, tolerance, acceptance.”

On the other hand, if he is offered to represent France for the 2024 edition, it will be no. “It’s something I like but currently I’m really focused on my project so I don’t think it would suit me for next year”he confided before immediately reassuring the fans: “But in a few years, who knows? Afterwards, if I write a song and it’s perfect for Eurovision, I don’t say no because we don’t know what can happen. I’m waiting for the song, the desire, the right meeting, the moment. I work on instinct!”. Nothing is done and Louis Albi could finally change his mind if the situation arises for good.
