Indeed, the drummer of the American rock band, Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins, died at the age of 50. “A huge loss”, he wrote in the caption of a photo of the artist in full representation. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins”announced in the morning, the account Twitter group official. “His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live with us all forever. Our thoughts are with his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect at this incredibly difficult time.” The causes of his death have not been revealed.
The Foo Fighters are on tour in South America and performed at the Estereo Picnic festival in Bogota (Colombia) on Friday March 25. The festival released a statement on Facebook confirming that the band had pulled out of the three-day festival due to the death of Taylor Hawkins. “With broken hearts we are here to share some very sad news with you due to a very serious medical situation the Foo Fighters are unable to play tonight and they have canceled the remainder of their South American tour. .”
Several fans gathered in front of the hotel where the band was staying to drop candles there. After Colombia, Foo Fighters were scheduled to play Lollapalooza Brasil in São Paulo on March 26 before continuing their tour of the United States.
The musician is survived by his wife, Alison, and their three children.
