Anthony Delon had not spoken since his father’s death. “RIP Dad” : it is with these words that the 59-year-old Franco-American actor paid tribute to him, Tuesday, August 20, in a post on the social network Instagram. He shared several photos of his father in his younger years, one of which was signed by Alain Delon.
The eldest of the cinema legend’s three children commented on this series of photos with one sentence: “The child never forgets, because he continues to live in us until our last breath”.
Anthony Delon, his sister Anouchka and his brother Alain-Fabien jointly announced the death of their father on Sunday, after having long fought over his state of health and having sent away his lady-in-waiting, Hiromi Rollin.
The actor’s three children still have to agree on the organisation of the funeral, and decide between a ceremony in the strictest privacy or a possible national tribute, which Alain Delon did not want.
