following which the channel offered a rebroadcast of the cult show. In this episode dating from June 26, 2023, Philippe Etchebest
was in Saint-Gervais, in the Gard, to help Mimose And Georget, a couple of restaurateurs in difficulty.
It was in 2018 that the two lovebirds from Reunion took the reins of the Kfé Vanille. Georget, a professional in the world of gastronomy, had previously cut his teeth at the three-star Maison Troisgros. His mentor, we learned, is none other than Serge Chenet, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France. An impressive journey which unfortunately was not enough to work miracles.
Sent on a mission, Philippe Etchebest did everything to help the duo. And the least we can say is that his visit was not in vain. Since then, the Mimose et Georget establishment located at 48 chemin des Malins, 30200 Saint-Gervais is always open from Tuesday to Saturday, as well as Sunday lunchtime.

Kfé Vanille robbed
On the Net, the comments are positive. “Seeing this restaurant in such good shape after the visit of Etchebest is such a pleasure. During the episode we can clearly see that the people form a united couple and the merit is there”, wrote an Internet user on Google. And another to add: “Excellent restaurant in Saint-Gervais. I’ve been there several times and always delicious. Impeccable service, the owner who serves herself, always so welcoming and smiling.” Rave reviews.
Unfortunately, Mimose and Georget were victims of a sad mishap last month. On Facebook, the couple announced that they had suffered a burglary.“Burglary at Kfé Vanille last night. Little damage thanks to the immediate intervention of our Verisure alarm and the speed of intervention of the gendarmes of Pont Saint-Esprit, Cornillon. Thanks to them but beware of Saint-Gervais and surrounding areas of course. A priori, 2 individuals who would have fled on a motocross bike. Investigation in progress. See you soon and joy of living all the same”, they wrote. A hard blow for the pair who managed to get back on track.
