In a relationship for more than seven years and married since 2019, Laury Thilleman and chef Juan Arbelaez have decided to go their separate ways. On May 17, the former Miss France took to Instagram to make an official announcement. “In order to cut short all rumors and nauseating articles, I wanted to share with you that after 7 years of intense happiness and living together at a thousand miles an hour, Juan and I have decided together to continue our journeys separately. Tenderness , the kindness, gratitude and mutual respect that we share remains and will remain intact“she wrote.
As explained exclusively in our magazine Public, the former beauty queen would have decided to end her marriage with the famous Colombian chef… after an idyll with another man!
Against all odds, Laury Thilleman decided to speak in the press, to discuss her projects and, implicitly, her divorce. “The milestone of 30 years made me realize that it was time to think about myself. To continue doing well what I love, I need to focus on what makes me happy. No more pleasing to others by never saying ‘no’ to them. From now on, I decide to say ‘yes’ to myself” explained the one who had been elected Miss Brittany 2010 in the columns of the magazine Télé Star.
Having become a TV host after her reign, Laury Thilleman officiates on France 2 and will also host the program “La Fête de la Musique” on June 21. After inviting viewers to follow this event that she will present with Garou, she also revealed why she made the choice to publicly announce her divorce: “Because I want to remain in control of my life rather than being a slave to media coverage, which has good sides as well as other more harmful ones.
