Two people were arrested for having stole gasoline, on the night of Sunday 19 to Monday 20 December around 4 a.m. The facts took place in the Lys-les-Lannoy industrial zone, near Roubaix.
The 26-year-old woman and the 14-year-old were surprised by police on patrol in the area, who saw their Audi parked between two trucks. They fled when they saw the police arriving, but the latter noticed fuel stains in the trunk, as well as a strong smell of gasoline in the car and gasoline leaks from the fuel filler flap.
The two people were placed in police custody.
