after several degradations at Christmas, the town hall of Pange establishes a curfew

This is too much. Following a series of degradations in Pange, 15 km south of Metz, the mayor Roland Chloup is establishing a curfew in his town. Since December 27, minors no longer have the right to go out if they are not accompanied by an adult between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. The decree runs until January 2.

7,000 euros of damage

On the night of December 23 to 24, Christmas lights : a cone-shaped fir tree and a tree were damaged and lying in the middle of the road. After being put back in place by the technical services of the town, on the night of December 24 to 25, they were again degraded. What’s more 35 meters of barriers around the playing tune were broken. Planters have been overturned, letter boxes have also been damaged. The town hall filed a complaint on December 24 and December 25. She estimates that the damage amounted to 7,000 euros.

“I don’t want New Years Eve to look like Christmas Eve”, declares the mayor after taking the curfew decree. The town has already experienced degradation but not as significant. “There is a moment we must stop, the damage cannot go unpunished!”, hammers Roland Chloup. This decree can still be attacked by the prefecture.
