The day before, Lane Hutson collected his first point in the National Hockey League against the Detroit Red Wings. Logan Mailloux imitated it against these same Red Wings 24 hours later.
In his first game in the National Hockey League, the big defenseman chosen in the first round in 2021 (31st overall) served a good first pass to Brendan Gallagher, whose return shot was subsequently recovered by Alex Newhook.
Like a good teammate, Mike Matheson picked up the puck to immortalize this first.
