But Laurent Luyat was struck by a bereavement! He took up the journalist’s tweet from The TeamQuentin Moynet announcing the death of Xavier Richefort: “Sadness. Thoughts to his loved ones and his colleagues”, could we read. The channel reporter The Team, passionate volleyball commentator and former French champion in the discipline, died on Friday July 22 at the age of 59 following a heart attack. A sudden disappearance occurred while the journalist was to comment on the Final 8 of the League of Nations volleyball, a competition in which the France team reached the final against the United States. The Olympic champions will pay homage to him, just as many Internet users and colleagues have already done.
