Before officiating around Cyril Hanouna’s table in “TPMP”, Benjamin Castaldi has long been in animation. And mainly in the world of reality TV. First “Loft Story” on M6, before directing “Secret Story” on TF1, the host knows the area very well. This is why learning that he is preparing a project related to reality TV is not really surprising. Because yes, the son of Jean-Pierre Castaldi is indeed preparing a project related to this field as he announced this Friday, June 30 on the set of Figaro Buzz TV.
“I’m working on a series that will get people talking since it revolves around reality TV, a universe that I know well”he revealed before announcing that he had already “a co-producer and it is currently in full development”. At the moment, his idea does not yet have a broadcaster but he is working hard on this task: “I enjoy it because I work with Angela Lorente (Loft Story, Temptation Island, Secret Story: editor’s note), my old friend and ”popess” of reality TV. You have to be careful but if it goes to the end , it should surely make a little noise…”

Everything is fine between Cyril Hanouna and Benjamin Castaldi
The proof that the 53-year-old host, who left C8 like Matthieu Delormeau, left the channel with a head full of projects. Because in addition to this series project based on reality TV, he is also preparing a play with Mathilde and Emmanuelle Seigner. A play that depicts the story of his grandparents, Simone Signoret and Yves Montand, through the adultery committed by the latter with Marilyn Monroe.
And do not think that relations have deteriorated with Cyril Hanouna. On the contrary, he was able to discuss at length with the host of C8 and let him know what he wants from elsewhere. “We spoke about it with Cyril and we decided to stop by mutual agreement. We are not angry. I will be eternally grateful to him”he concluded, aware of the hand that the host has been able to extend to him throughout these last years.
