After having repeatedly tackled M.Pokora, Lionel Tim confronted his ex-Linkup partner in “TPMP”

At 37, M.Pokora has just released his ninth studio album entitled “Epicentre”. On the occasion of the release of this new opus but also to celebrate his 20-year career, the artist whose real name is Matthieu Tota, has decided to go on a concert tour throughout France. This famous tour was launched this Saturday, June 10, 2023 during an exceptional show at the Arena Paris La Défense, which is none other than the largest hall in Europe with a capacity of 40,000 people.

This Monday, June 12, 2023, M.Pokora signed an appearance on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” to give more details on the impressive show he has in store for his fans. The singer with an impressive discography had to choose from dozens of hits for the concert’s “setlist”. The young dad revealed that he will only sing 5 or 6 songs from his new album because he is forced to perform his other must-have hits.

M.Pokora: his reunion with Lionel des Linkup live in “TPMP”
During his time on the set of Cyril Hanouna’s show, M.Pokora found Lionel Tim his former partner of “Linkup”, the group formed at the end of season 3 of the show “Popstars” in 2003 After the release of a single album, M.Pokora had decided to leave this group and go solo. A wise choice since he quickly became one of the most popular singers in the country.

For their part, Lionel Tim and Otis, the two other members of the group have fallen back into anonymity. Disappointed at having been abandoned by his former partner, Lionel Tim did not hesitate to tackle him on several occasions. In November 2022, for example, he reacted to an interview with M.Pokora in which he said that Linkup represented “only nine months of his life”. “When you say it was only 9 months of your life, it’s just the catapult of your life! If you don’t do the show, we don’t know you. If you don’t do the album “Notre star”, nobody knows you! You would have continued to do freestyles in Strasbourg!” he had lamented on Virgin Radio.

Having become a room driver for the show “Touche pas à mon poste, Lionel Tim had to face M.Pokora tonight. It was with a smile that the two former members of the Linkup group met and even accepted to sing a little piece of their cult song: “Mon étoile”.
