With “Mr. Macron, we had the ‘at the same time’, with Jordan Bardella, we have the ‘in a second time'”, mocks Wednesday June 19 on France Inter, the president of Les Républicains (LR) of Hauts-de-France, Xavier Bertrand.
“Mr. Bardella, he’s on the back foot. Pensions will come later, the reduction in VAT will come later.” lists the former right-wing minister. He refers to the reversals of the RN European deputy and president of the movement, who is running for the post of Prime Minister, on the repeal of the pension reform and the abolition of VAT on basic necessities.
As the legislative elections approach, “another cohabitation is possible”, assures Xavier Bertrand. “The more independent LR deputies we have or, in particular, the independents of the Liot group [Libertés, indépendants, outre-mer et territoires]the more we will be able to impose on Mr. Macron a different cohabitation than that which is, it seems, promised to us with Mr. Bardella”he calls.
