After a burglary, a restaurant owner challenges her thieves with humor on Facebook

Julie, manager of the restaurant la Popotte in Angresse, between Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse and Hossegor in the Landes, had a bad surprise this Sunday morning when he arrived in his restaurant. One of the windows had been forced open and the fridges were not closed properly. So she goes around to see what may have been stolen: the alcohol boxes are still there, the speaker and the phone too, all of which ultimately has a little value. The thieves simply left with the chocolate fondants not yet cooked and the 10 cent coins! “Apparently they were really just looking for something to eat, they must have been craving a chocolate cupcake overnight”, she explains.

A little message to thieves on Facebook

Julie therefore suspects adolescents or children. She decides to take this event with humor and writes a little message on Facebook to challenge them: “To you little one, who entered the restaurant last night, and who stole MY chocolate fondants (not cooked), know that they must be baked at 200 degrees for 7 minutes so that they are very runny !! Let them be at least good! “

Because the little burglars chose the raw fondants, while just above, in the same fridge, there were the cooked ones, “so I said to myself, I’m going to tell them how to cook them”, she says, “even if they steal them from me, as much as they eat them!”

Even if they steal them from me, as much as they eat them!

The idea was also to get the message out to moms, if they ever come across chocolate fondants at home.

A complaint filed all the same with the gendarmes

The restorer still called the gendarmes to tell them about this story, since the window has been damaged a bit and in case other bosses have been passed through their house during the night as well.
