15 years of career, a trailer as a first scene, and then leaves. Mylène Madrias thought carefully before making her decision, but her choice is made. Her desires are different from today and she needs “take time” for her and “to reflect on” what she has to say. In fact, the group “Three Gourmet Coffees” separates as announced by the trio this Monday, June 26 in the columns of Parisian.
“I’ve been talking to the boys about it for a little while. We’ve known each other since childhood, we’ve been making music together for almost twenty years, we part ways and still have a lot of affection”, assured the singer. And don’t talk to him about success. This choice has nothing to do with the success the band had or never had: “artistically, I think I have to scratch a little further to be sure of being fulfilled”, she justifies. But fans will still be able to enjoy the chemistry of “Three Gourmet Coffees”.

No estrangement, just different projects
As Mylène Madrias announced, she will leave her acolytes, Sébastien Gourseyrol and Jérémy Pauly, “at the end of the tour which starts and will continue in 2024”. “This success was as sweet as it was violent”continued the singer who recognizes that “It went so fast and strong, we barely had time to enjoy it”. “The boys still had their jobs at the same time. This created changes in us, in our families, it was not trivial and not always easy to manage”she adds.
It was really in 2018 that the group became known to the general public with their now cult title: “To Our Memories”. A title whose clip has been seen… more than 260 million times! And even got a parody of a famous duo: the Palmashow.
Some may not know it, but the trio even managed to convince Jean-Jacques Goldman to return to service and write them a song: “When” released in September 2022. As for Sébastien Gourseyrol and Jérémy Pauly, the future duo does not yet know whether they will continue or not. “We need time to build something else”explained Jérémy Pauly before adding: “We’ll see how the tour goes. We too may need to take a break”. A solo career for each of them seems to be looming.
