Several social events are held each year in Monaco. Among them, the traditional Rose Ball, an evening organized every year since its creation in 1954 by Princess Grace Kelly. Now chaired by his daughter Caroline de Hanover, this gala aims to raise funds to support humanitarian programs for children, and more particularly pediatric research. This money is raised through raffles and prizes on sale during the event.
The 2024 edition was held this Saturday March 23, 2024 and had the theme of the disco years and around 800 guests crowded into the Salle des Étoiles at Sporting Monte-Carlo decorated by Christian Louboutin for the occasion.
Among the guests: Princess Charlotte Casiraghi, her brother Pierre Casiraghi and his wife Beatrice Borromeo but also Alexandra of Hanover. Stéphane Bern also made the trip with his husband Yori Bailleres while the American singer Gloria Gaynor, a key figure of the disco years was also there and did not fail to put on a show by performing her greatest hits of the 1980s.
