Afida Turner lets loose on a columnist from TPMP People… who retaliates!

On September 28, Coolio lost his life at the age of 59. The author of the 1995 hit, Gangsta’s Paradise, was found unconscious in the bathroom of a friend he had visited. Unfortunately, the emergency services were unable to revive him and the police have, for the time being, ruled out the criminal trail. In order to pay tribute to the rapper, Matthieu Delormeau had invited Afida Turner this weekend to the set of TPMP People. The crazy singer, whom the public discovered in 2002 on M6 in “Loft Story”, had lived an idyll with Coolio in the early 2000s. On the day of his death, she had not failed to pay tribute to Artis Leon Ivey Jr. aka Coolio, on social media: “My God Artis. No. Coolio. Rest in paradise, she posted on Instagram.

If Afida Turner seemed marked and still all turned upside down on the set of the C8 show, she however allowed herself a zaniness by attacking Sophie Coste, columnist of the show. While the latter mentioned the many children of Coolio, the one who also used the pseudonyms Lesly and Lesly Mess in her career called out to her without sparing her: “But who are you? I don’t know you”she threw at him. “I am journalist“, was content to answer the columnist soberly. Teasing as usual, Matthieu Delormeau told his guest: “Sorry baby, I’m telling you everything. Est is a saleswoman at Zara but we had a hole in the show”.

Afida Turner then gave a layer. “I haven’t seen you in 10 years”, she pointed out. Obviously bristling with the indelicacy of the singer, Sophie Coste ended up letting go: “We never met because before, I was doing extremely cultural shows”. Not enough to disturb Afida Turner who drove the point home: “What are you doing here then?”. A surprising spat that amused the public and Matthieu Delormeau, hilarious in front of the stage!
