For her first year at university, Emma chose to live on a green, rural campus and in contact with animals. “It’s very pleasant. I live in the countryside so I’m clearly used to this environment and therefore I really like it there”she rejoices. For a few days, she has moved into an old farmhouse, a recently renovated 25 square meter apartment. In this accommodation, she will be able to study in peace and at a low price. The duplex with its green surroundings only costs him 358 euros per month.
On average, rents are 20 to 30% cheaper than traditional student accommodation. Attractive prices that are attracting more and more students. Like Pauline who rents accommodation a 20-minute drive from her faculty. The only downside to this accommodation is that you have to take your car to get to the university. “Obviously, we have access to fewer things like stores, shopping centers… but for my part, I prefer to be in the countryside and do a little more traveling”she explains.
