After ten days spent in Cannes, to organize interviews on the sidelines of the Cannes Film Festival, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine is back in Paris to present her program “C à vous”. This Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the host received Adriana Karembeu who spoke of her role as ambassador of The Red Cross.
“You did not hesitate to play with your Adriana image, to put it at the service of La Croix Rouge. There was a large-scale campaign of incredible effectiveness. You arrived at La Croix Rouge immediately, you have raised donations, + €300,000 from the first campaign. Is that why they don’t want to let you go?” wondered Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine.
“I asked to stay because it seemed too superficial to me to just do an advertising spot. And it also comes from my story, my grandmother was a nurse she was part of the Red Cross, my mother was a doctor and I I did three years of medicine. Somehow, it was for me a door to return to my first passions” confided the pretty blonde.
“Today we understand that not everyone can give a lot… You just have to not remain indifferent. The national quest is really an unmissable event for the French Red Cross. It allows it to carry out local actions. Thus, when we give below our home, we help below our home. she explained before making a sad observation: “We have 22% more people coming for help, there are new faces, including many young people!”.
