In December 2022, Adriana Karembeu formalized the end of his love story with Aram Ohanian, an Armenian businessman. The couple had united on June 14, 2014 in Monaco, and had settled in Marrakech, where they had opened a hotel-restaurant together. For media and financial reasons, Adriana Karembeu saw fit to keep the surname of her first husband, footballer Christian Karembeu. In 2016, Adriana Karembeu becomes pregnant at 45, but has a miscarriage. She manages to re-birth, and gives birth to a little girl, Nina, on August 17, 2018, a month before celebrating her 47th birthday.
On Instagram, ‘‘it is with a heavy heart” that the entrepreneur and model revealed last winter to open divorce proceedings after twelve years of love and more than eight years of marriage: ”Twelve magnificent years spent together. I vibrated every moment. I have never laughed so much as at your side. Our story was beautiful and I loved it so much. However, today we have decided together to take separate roads. Love will never fade. Roads not so separate as that, since almost a year after the officialization of their separation, the two future ex-spouses still live together.
They live on two separate floors and are happy that way
As they reveal in a report broadcast this Saturday, September 9, 2023 in 50′ Inside on TF1Adriana Karembeu and Aram Ohanian saw fit to continue living together, so as not to destabilize their young daughter who has just celebrated her 5th birthday: ” I explained to Nina that mom and dad were no longer in love, that we love her very much and that nothing has changed, that we remain a family […] This is a terribly painful but important decision. He is a man who made me so happy. So, no, it’s not a failure. I think we’ve come a long way together. When we feel that there is this happiness that eludes us a little, we have to leave.”
As a result, in order not to compromise the well-being of their darling daughter, Adriana Karembeu and Aram Ohanian chose to continue living together, but differently. Owners of the magnificent Ronsard Palace located in the heart of Marrakech which cost them more than 12 million euros of work spread over four years, the two ex-lovebirds obviously live in separate rooms, and each lives on a different floor. A different rhythm of life, which does not bother Adriana or Aram Ohanian: “I don’t want to start my life over. I don’t want to run after girls. I don’t want all that. I’m not in it at all,” he testified.
She was not in Marrakech at the time of the earthquake
Fortunately for Adriana Karembeu, the French starlet was not in Marrakech this week, and therefore escaped the terrible earthquake which struck a good part of the country. This Sunday, September 10, the latest human toll showed 2,012 deaths reported, and as many injured, including 1,400 in a condition considered critical. This weekend, Adriana Karembeu was in France, to support the Blues in the stands of the France/New Zealand match. On Instagram, she paid tribute to the victims and called for people to donate blood. For the moment, nothing says that Aram Ohanian and their daughter Nina were not there at the time of the disaster. The businessman did not react to the drama on his Instagram account.
