After a 42e edition carried out in the studio last year due to the health standards in force at the height of the second wave of COVID-19, the 2021 gala will resume all its rights, with performances by Charlotte Cardin, Damien Robitaille, David Goudreault, FouKi, Klô Pelgag, Roxane Bruneau and Vincent Vallières, to name a few. “After a tumultuous year full of twists and turns, the Gala represents an essential opportunity to recognize the contribution of each of these actors in keeping the arts community alive, vibrant and relevant”, declared in a press release Marie-Josée Desrochers, president- general manager of Place des Arts.

In addition to the many performances on stage, we will also be entitled to the return of the thank-you capsules from Louis-José Houde’s covers. The comedian, who will be in his 16e year in the animation of the Gala, will dissect among others the best thanks from the covers of Roxanne Bruneau, Léa Jarry, Beyries, Basia Bulat and Brimbelle.

Twelve trophies will be presented during the Gala de l’ADISQ evening, broadcast on ICI TÉLÉ from 8 p.m. on November 7. The Premier Gala, hosted for a third year by Pierre Lapointe, will be pre-recorded on MTELUS and broadcast on Wednesday, November 3, at 8 p.m., on Télé-Québec.
