Adeline Toniutti evokes her violent ex through her performance, the whole set in tears

Emotion took over the set of Dance with the starsthis Friday March 8, 2024. Indeed,
Adeline Toniutti
offered a contemporary dance to the title Does not insist by Camille Lellouche. A piece that touches her personally as she mentioned in the tape broadcast just before her performance.

“This song has a big story with me. It evokes a passage in my life, one of the most terrible. My ex-partner who hit me… Just talking about it, it’s not going to work”she told her partner before specifying: “he crushed me so morally, so threatened me, that I was paralyzed. The violence started and it got stronger and stronger. And I was afraid to talk about it. I was afraid that They don’t believe me.”.

In the end, it was a friend who “seen” the distress ofAdeline Toniutti : “She caught it directly. She said to me ‘you know you can die’? She shocked me when she spoke to me, and suddenly afterwards I had something inside me, a force that came , which triggered the leak”.

Jean-Marc Généreux and the set of “Dancing with the Stars” moved after Adeline Toniutti’s dance

She was able to convey this story and this emotion through her performance which deeply moved the set and especially Jean-Marc Généreux. “We’re on the third performance and we’ve already gone through the whole range of emotions. That’s also what Dancing with the Stars is all about. Using gripping moments from your life, but moments that speak to everyone. Not just in France but everywhere on the planet…”first confided the member of the jury in tears.

Struggling to find his words, the dancer continued: “Sometimes I’m ashamed, sometimes I’m ashamed of these men who hide out of sight to do their thing… but tonight, we can’t hide. Jean-Marc Généreux praised the courage of‘Adeline Toniutti. “It’s courageous to have done what you did, to have experienced what you experienced, and to have experienced your own struggle. His performance earned him a 7 from the jury member, as well as a 9 from Fauve Hautot, a 7 from Mel Charlot, and finally a 6 from Chris Marques.
