Adèle Van Reeth will replace Laurence Bloch, appointed in 2014 at the head of France inter and who will be 70 years old this year, announced Sibyle Veil in Le Monde. The producer of “Paths of Philosophy” on France Culture will design the next schedule for the 1st radio station in France in tandem with Laurence Bloch, before officially taking office at the start of the 2022 school year.
“It is not easy to succeed the one who brought you to the highest level, the one who carries within her a part of the soul of France Inter. But Laurence and I are convinced of it, Adèle Van Reeth will know how to embody the future what makes France Inter: intellectual rigor and modernity”explains Sibyle Veil in a press release.
Adèle Van Reeth, who is 39, started at France culture in 2008 and “has become one of its greatest voices.” She has been producing and hosting since September 2011, on France Culture, the daily philosophy program “Les Nouveaux Chemins de laconnaissance”, which has become “Les Chemins de la philosophie”. In 2014, she launched a collection entitled “Questions de Caractère” where she dialogues with contemporary philosophers while keeping the spirit and approach of her show.

A woman of public service, she has always wanted to popularize the most demanding culture and knowledge to bring them to as many people as possible. A woman of her time, she has a taste for enlightening the era with intelligence and curiosity, without caricatures, without facilities, as France Inter does every day by offering all eyes”adds Sibyle Veil.
