Last November, singer Adele confirmed what had become an open secret: she signed a contract for a permanent residence in Las Vegas. The British diva, who recently released the disc 30 carried by the single Easy On Me, had planned everything for it to be a success but, unfortunately, the future decided otherwise.
Tears in her eyes, looking dejected, Adele therefore took the floor to make a sad announcement to her fans. “I’m sorry but the show is not ready (…) We tried absolutely everything we could to get everything ready on time (…) but we were shattered by the delivery times and the Covid (…) Half of my team is (sick) from the Covid and it was impossible to finalize the show. I’m disgusted“, related the interpreter of the tubes Rolling in The Deep, Someone Like You or Sky Fall. Adele, who is not in control of the situation, apologized to “everyone who made the trip” to attend the show, planned in the hall of the Colosseum from the hotel-casino Caesars Palace.
The singer, who found love again with sports agent Rich Paul, was scheduled to perform every weekend for twelve weeks from January 21; we will now have to try to reschedule the dates. She would have signed a record contract for the occasion, she who thus recovered the room built at the time for her idol: Celine Dion. The Quebec diva, whose health greatly worries her fans, was to perform a little further on the Strip, in the brand new Resorts World, with a capacity of 5,000 seats.
