(Adelaide) Serbian Novak Djokovic beat Russian Daniil Medvedev on Saturday in the semi-final of the ATP 250 tournament in Adelaide and will face American Sebastian Korda in the final on Sunday, victorious over Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka.
In a duel between the last two kings of world tennis before the advent of Carlos Alcaraz, Djokovic, 5e world beat Medvedev who follows him by two places in two sets 6-3, 6-4 and 1 h 30 min of match.
In the first semi-final, less prestigious between the 33e and the 36th in the world, Korda had beaten Nishioka, injured in the right hip and forced to retire when the score was 7-6 (7/5), 1-0 in favor of the American.
