Adam Silver is reportedly close to entering into a multi-year contract extension to remain NBA commissioner for several more years, a person with knowledge of the deal said Saturday.
The person told The Associated Press of the news on condition of anonymity because no announcement has been made from the league. Silver’s deal would extend “through the end of the decade,” according to ESPN, which first shared the contract extension.
Silver approaches his 10e anniversary as NBA commissioner, he who took office on 1er February 2014.
