Actor Yves Trudel passes away | The Press

Yves Trudel, who notably interpreted the character of Méo in the films Elvis Grattondied at the age of 72, we learned on Friday.

The cause of his death is not known. Yves Trudel was known for his roles in director Pierre Falardeau’s films, such as Elvis Gratton, The Party, October and February 15, 1839.

Pierre Falardeau’s Facebook page also paid tribute to Yves Trudel. Many reactions then fused on social networks.

On his Facebook page, Xavier Barsalou-Duval, Bloc Québécois MP for Pierre-Boucher-Les Patriotes-Verchères, described Yves Trudel as a “sincere” and “sensitive” man for whom “commitment to the country was the most altogether”.

Yves Trudel was also a drama teacher.
