Actor Gaspard Ulliel died at the CHU de Grenoble (Isère), where he had been transported after a fall on skis which occurred on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Savoyard resort of La Rosière, his agent announced to AFP, Wednesday January 19 .

The 37-year-old actor was found unconscious on the ski area with a significant head trauma. It was the rescue services of the CRS Alpes who intervened. He had been taken care of for 1h15 on the spot before being able to be evacuated by helicopter to the Grenoble hospital, according to information from France Bleu Pays de Savoie.
According to the first elements of the investigation opened by the public prosecutor’s office in Albertville (Savoie), Gaspard Ulliel was moving on a blue run when he collided with another skier at a crossroads with another blue run. According to the director of the tourist office at France Bleu Pays de Savoie, the actor then fell. The other skier was not hospitalized.
