Actor and director Samuel Theis, the target of a rape investigation, placed under assisted witness status

Actor and director Samuel Theis was summoned on July 4 by the Metz investigating judge in charge of the investigation opened for rape and emerged with the status of assisted witness, franceinfo learned Tuesday from a source close to the case and the Metz prosecutor’s office, confirming information from The gallery.

According to prosecutor Yves Badorc, the two investigations – preliminary following a complaint filed in July 2023 and with civil action filed in November 2023 – have been joined.
