activists confident for the next deadlines

The party launched its campaign for the European elections, Saturday September 16, during its back-to-school university in Beaucaire, in the Gard.

“Can’t wait for June 9”. This is the slogan of the National Rally (RN) for the launch of its campaign for the European elections. The party went on the offensive on Saturday September 16, during its back-to-school university in Beaucaire, in the Gard. Marine Le Pen presented a “Declaration of the Rights of Nations and Peoples”, an initiative that she will defend from Sunday September 17 in Italy, alongside her League ally Matteo Salvini. An election year that the activists of the far-right party feel very well about, especially since all the polls give them favorites.

Hopes for Jordan Bardella

They have no doubt: their side will be in the lead in June. Véronique thinks that Jordan Bardella is the right candidate to pull the RN list to the top. “He surpasses the entire peloton by far: he’s a man who really has his ideas firmly in mind. He’s for the homeland, and what the French expect.”she judges.

Stéphane shares this opinion: “I have a lot of hope, it is perfect on all levels: youth, current affairs, yellow vests, the cost of living, immigration, Italy…” he lists. Stéphane refers to the thousands of migrants who come ofarrive in Lampedusa. He thinks this subject will be at the heart of the upcoming campaign.

Regain power over Europe

When activists hear Marine Le Pen talking about nations that must regain power and not allow anything to be imposed by the European Union, Alain applauds.

“Let Europe finally do something for the nations, because for the moment, it is forcing us to receive this immigration that we can no longer receive. We no longer have anything to give them. The RN wants to try to change things while remaining in Europe, by renegotiating treaties. We are for a Europe, but free and sovereign nations.”

In this campaign, there is still a small shadow on the board: the candidacy of Marion Maréchal, the niece of Marine Le Pen, who will lead the list of Reconquête, Éric Zemmour’s party. Many RN activists regret this multiplication of nationalist candidates. “It’s a shame because in the end, we could make a single patriotic list which defends roughly the same values. Except that there, it risks dividing,” believes Aurélien. Alain follows suit: “It’s a shame to divide, we need the rights to unite. What Éric Zemmour would want!”

Union, yes. But behind their champion: Jordan Bardella. Or rather “Jordan”as everyone in the party calls it.
