Accused of filling car with stolen meat and Coke

Rather than celebrating Christmas with a huge protein feast washed down with Coke and Sprite, two Ontarians instead received the gift of major legal trouble, courtesy of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

The police force explained on Sunday that they had been called to go to Highway 404 in Markham, Ontario, the evening before after receiving reports of a theft at a business.

Photos shared by the OPP show the extent of the loot amassed by the suspects. They completely filled the trunk of their car with food, mainly meat, but also other products including cans and a crate of mangoes.

The back seat of the car was covered in crates of soft drink cans.

This theft will result in a 48-year-old man and a 37-year-old being charged with theft. A minor would also be involved in this crime, the police said.
