(Seoul) North Korea has launched a violent diatribe against US President Joe Biden, who has been called an “old man of senile age” and “weak” for accusing his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin of war crimes in Ukraine.

Mr. Biden has repeatedly accused Russia of war crimes, and stirred up trouble in late March by declaring that Mr. Putin “cannot stay in power”.
“Such irresponsible remarks can only be made by the descendant of the Yankees, a master of aggression and conspiracy,” North Korea’s official KCNA news agency said in a commentary published on Saturday.
“One might come to the conclusion that there is something wrong with his intellectual faculties, and his irresponsible remarks are just proof of the recklessness of an old man of senile age,” KCNA continued.
“The future of the United States looks bleak with such a weak man in power,” she added.
Pyongyang openly supports the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, one of its few allies, and accuses Washington of being “at the root” of the current crisis.
It is not uncommon for official North Korean media to attack foreign leaders in violent, even foul language. They had thus treated Mr. Biden as a “mad dog” to “be beaten to death with a stick” when he was still only a Democratic candidate for the American presidency.
Former US President Donald Trump has been described as “senile” and “mentally deranged”. Former South Korean President Park Geun-hye had for her part been entitled to the qualifiers of “witch” and “cunning prostitute”.
