A 22-year-old employee is in critical condition following an accident at La Grande Roue de Montréal on Saturday, said the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM)
A call was made around 1 p.m. Saturday due to an accident at La Grande Roue located in the Old Port of Montreal, said Jean-Pierre Brabant, spokesperson for the SPVM. A man was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Since the event occurred in the workplace, the file was transferred to the CNESST, said Brabant.
The Big Wheel will remain closed until further notice.
