We have a smile on the side of ACAP, the swimming club of Périgueux and its agglomeration, after the events of the Regional Youth Championships, at the beginning of December, in Poitiers. 11 representatives in total for ACAP and joy for many of them.
The results in figures, on the podium
Pascal Meyer, ACAP coach, accompanied the club’s swimmers in Poitiers. 13 had obtained their qualification, but only 11 made the trip. The record is remarkable, with 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 10 bronze medals. Unfortunately none of the timed performances was sufficient for a qualification for the French Championships. However, all of the good results put the ACAP club among the best in Nouvelle Aquitaine, but there is still some way to go to join the Poitiers or Niort clubs which have an armada of excellent swimmers. Now it’s time for the Juniors for a similar competition.
