Federal Sports Minister Pascale St-Onge will take inspiration from Quebec to set up an independent complaints mechanism by this summer that will allow athletes to report cases of abuse, harassment and mistreatment.

The new mechanism will be managed by the Sport Dispute Resolution Center of Canada, which already handles appeals from athletes who, for example, want to dispute the fact that they have not been selected for the Olympic team.
