(Berlin) British singer Adele will perform in August 2024 in Munich, a first in continental Europe since 2016, the Live Nation performance platform announced on Wednesday on its website.
“I can’t imagine a more beautiful way to spend my summer,” Adele wrote on her Instagram account, referring to these concerts.
The 35-year-old singer will perform on four dates in early August in the Bavarian capital. Some 80,000 people will be expected each evening, according to Live Nation.
Adele is one of the most famous and popular pop artists in the world. She has received many coveted awards like the Grammy Awards and the Golden Globes.
The albums, the singles and Adele’s music videos sell millions of copies and are sometimes viewed billions of times on the internet.
Songs like Someone Like You And Rolling in The Deepfrom his album 21 released in 2011, have been listened to more than a billion and a half times each on the music platform Spotify.
The artist is currently in residence in Las Vegas, United States, until June. According to Live Nation, she presents a total of 100 shows over 50 weekends under the slogan Weekends with Adele.
In 2022, Adele held a few concerts in London, where she performed in Hyde Park to sold-out crowds.
