Head coach Matt LaFleur shared the news but seemed unconcerned about Rodgers’ possible absence this Sunday when the Packers (3-2) host the New York Jets (3 -2).

Rodgers was preparing to make a long pass on the final play of Sunday’s game when he was hit by Oshane Ximines, causing him to lose the ball.

“The thumb is fine,” Rodgers said. At the time I didn’t feel much, because of the adrenaline. It was on the plane that I realized it was a bit messed up. It got better every day, though.

“Rehabilitation has done good [mercredi], but tomorrow I will try to take part in training. I’m sure I’ll be ok on Sunday. »

Rodgers has had eight touchdown passes this year. He made three interceptions.

The Jets have won both road games so far this season. They will be looking for a third straight win.
