Series Dune: Prophecywhich will be divided into six episodes broadcast next fall on Max (Crave in Quebec), will explore the genesis of the organization behind each of the crucial moments of the universe created by Frank Herbert.
However, it is the novel Sisterhood of Dune of his son Brian and Kevin J. Anderson who is the main source of inspiration for the series led by Alison Schapker (A.k.a, Fringe, Altered Carbon).
Denis Villeneuve, who directed the two most recent films Dunewas to shoot the first episode, but changes in production forced him to give way to Anna Foerster (Westworld, Outlander, Criminal Mind), who will be behind the camera for a few episodes.
The British Emily Watson and Olivia Williams play the main roles, those of sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen, respectively. Travis Fimmel, Johdi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Tabu and Jihae are also in the cast.
