about 660 km of traffic jams in France at midday

Bison Futé is planning a difficult weekend on the roads with the first crossover of the summer. Saturday is classified red in the direction of departures.

Bison Futé lists approximately 660 km of traffic jams throughout France at midday on Saturday July 15, a level “unusual”, in connection with the classification of the whole country in red in the direction of departures. A week ago at the same time, Saturday July 8, 939 km of traffic jams had been identified, i.e. about a third more.

In detail, Saturday at 11:45 a.m., 186 km of traffic jams were recorded on the Mediterranean Arc and 215 km in the Great West and the North.

The difficulties are concentrated at midday on the A71 towards Montpellier and on the A6 towards the south, between Beaune and Lyon. On the A9, between Narbonne and Béziers, traffic is restored after an accident involving a motorcycle.
